Three Lions Squad Announced: Bellingham and Foden Omitted, Bukayo Returns
The England manager has opted to stick with the same Three Lions selection that secured victory against Andorra and delivered an impressive display in Belgrade during the previous international break, leaving no room for Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden in his group for the forthcoming friendly against the Welsh side and the qualifying match in Latvia.
Despite Phil Foden making a strong case for a return to the squad after regaining his top condition at Manchester City, and Bellingham having returned for his Spanish club following shoulder surgery, the national team manager has opted not to selecting two of the nation's biggest offensive stars. The young midfielder has started only once for his team since his comeback.
Tuchel has made room for the Arsenal winger, who is fully recovered and has been restored in place of his unavailable Arsenal teammate Noni Madueke. Jack Grealish has not been handed a return to the squad.

Tuchel expressed his admiration for the vibrancy in last month's squad and appears determined to maintaining the vibe. Tino Livramento, who started at the defensive flank in the 5-0 win in Serbia, has dropped out due to a knock. The manager has not called up a like-for-like substitute for the Newcastle player but has selected John Stones, who had to pull out last month. Tuchel has discussed the centre-back's significance for the national team and has suggested using him in midfield.
No spot has been found for the midfielder, who was called up in the previous squad but withdrew injured and was replaced by the Milan player.
Tuchel said: “It was only three weeks after the last camp and the last win, the latest display, so the question was why not bring the identical squad in because they established a benchmark. Now it is about building routines out of it. We have unfortunately a couple of fitness issues at the moment with Livramento and Noni and we welcome of course Bukayo Saka in to replace Noni. Jarell Quansah was a last-minute addition previously; he will remain with the squad.”
