Soccer Star Aaron Ramsey Increases Incentive for Missing Canine in Mexico to £15k
Wales football star Aaron Ramsey has raised the bounty for leads concerning the vanished dog Halo to $20,000.
The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
The beagle, who disappeared on October 9th, was equipped with a GPS collar, and the footballer published a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any news concerning our Halo kindly contact us. Substantial reward for reuniting with her. We are all wishing she is unharmed and will return with us shortly," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Pleas
Ramsey initially announced that Halo had disappeared 14 days prior and has subsequently shared multiple images of the adored pet on his social media account.
A seven thousand five hundred pound bounty was initially offered, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a seven days, the player and his family doubled the amount.
"All we desire is Halo home," he said in an additional plea on social media after the decade-old pet was lost.
A recent image share is a black and white photo of Halo snoozing, her head resting in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the caption: "What I'd do to embrace you again sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Context
The footballer has also circulated a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have some "pressing questions" about the disappearance and fear the family "may never receive clarity".
"We have yet to are still searching for Halo. I fear we will," his wife's message expressed.
The Welsh captain became part of Mexico's premier team Pumas UNAM in recent months and made his debut in the Mexican league in August.
Originally from Caerphilly athlete is the pioneering prominent British Isles player to participate in the Mexico's top division.
