A widespread web outage has impacted numerous sites and apps around the world, and users experiencing problems connecting to the web due to difficulties at the online infrastructure platform.

The impacted services comprise Snapchat, Roblox, Signal, and Duolingo, along with several Amazon-managed services such as its main retail website and the Ring security device manufacturer.

In the UK, Lloyds bank was disrupted as well as its subsidiaries Halifax and the Scottish bank, with additional accounts of issues reaching the HM Revenue and Customs website on that morning.
